Location: This role is on-site in our Uptown Dallas office, offering close collaboration with the trial team and strong day-to-day exposure to sophisticated patent litigation matters.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of patent litigation experience from a large or mid-sized law firm. A technical background is strongly preferred, ideally in electrical engineering or computer science.

Job Description

• Handle sophisticated patent litigation matters as part of an experienced trial team
• Assist with infringement and invalidity analysis in complex IP disputes
• Prepare and analyze claim charts and other technical litigation materials
• Work closely with inventors, experts, and attorneys on case development and strategy
• Support fact development, expert coordination, and technical aspects of trial preparation
• Draft and contribute to motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery in patent litigation matters
• Help translate complex technical concepts into clear and persuasive legal arguments
• Collaborate with a high-performing team on cutting-edge intellectual property disputes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of intellectual property patent litigation experience
• Experience at a large or mid-sized law firm
• Strong patent litigation skills, including technical issue analysis
• Technical background strongly preferred
• Electrical engineering or computer science background preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively with inventors, experts, and trial teams
• Texas bar admission strongly preferred for this Dallas-based litigation role
