My client is seeking an accomplished environmental leader who can shape department strategy, guide complex environmental programs, and serve as a trusted resource to major public agencies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead departmental operations, staffing, mentoring, workload, and performance
• Oversee environmental studies, assessments, permitting, and design support
• Direct SEQR and NEPA compliance for complex public-sector projects
• Manage budgets, schedules, quality, profitability, and client relationships
• Lead proposals, scopes, fee estimates, and business development
• Review technical reports and perform field investigations as needed

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree
• Bring strong SEQR, NEPA, and environmental permitting expertise
• Possess relevant professional certifications or credentials, preferably PE, PG, or AICP
• Expertise in any of the following: air or water quality, ecology & wildlife biology, historic & cultural resource evaluation, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, permitting & regulatory compliance.
