We are currently seeking a Test Technician with 1–2+ years of experience for a contract-to-direct opportunity in the Auburn Hills, MI area.
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in automotive, motorcycle, or heavy equipment (tractor) mechanics, or those with experience testing automotive components.
The position involves supporting testing and validation activities, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a lead technician
- Performs laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data
- Assists in preparation, setup and performance of tests
- Performs tests according to established procedures with supervision as required
- Ensures that laboratory areas and evaluations areas are kept clean and free of all safety hazards
- Conducts all tests in a professional and safe manner

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma; Associate degree; Trade School Certificate; or equivalent required
- Prior experience in automotive testing preferred
