The program manager leads all actions required, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of the program team. This will include working with various departments within the company and ensuring the team is meeting the customer requirements. The Program Manager will interact directly with the customer and technical personnel as needed throughout all phases of the project and has overall responsibility for project success.
Responsibilities
- Execute the program plan to meet all technical and business objectives to include the oversight of the day to day installation, commissioning, and launch/optimization.
- Manage the program schedule, including streamlining processes to meet project milestones and customer commitments.
- Lead project communications to both customer and program teams by providing regular updates, streamlining communications, and customer interactions.
- Support and coordinate the resources, including materials and personnel to meet program plan and timelines.
- Proactively indentify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks with a proposed plan for resolution.
- Collaborate with team to develop cost estimates and project plans ensuring optimized project deliverables, schedule, and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in program management in the industrial equipment, machinery, or automotive manufacturing industry
- Lean, Six Sigma experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
