Power Platform & SharePoint Consultant

MUST BE: U.S. BASED | ITAR COMPLIANT (U.S. PERSON)

Position Overview

We're seeking a consultant with dual expertise in SharePoint infrastructure and Power Platform development. You'll lead modernization initiatives, migrations, and the design of Power Apps solutions that extend or replace legacy systems. If you architect data-driven forms, build workflows that actually work, troubleshoot legacy environments, and guide clients through complex transformations.

To be considered, you must be a U.S. Person or possess valid work authorization as a U.S. Person BASED in the US.

What You Will Own

  • Lead SharePoint migrations: on-premises to cloud, file servers to OneDrive/SharePoint Online.

  • Design and enforce governance, permissions, and information architecture across SharePoint deployments.

  • Assess legacy environments for modernization gaps, performance risks, and compliance exposures.

  • Design and build Power Apps solutions (Canvas Apps preferred, Model-Driven where appropriate) that extend or modernize SharePoint.

  • Build Power Automate workflows for SharePoint list automation, integration, and data orchestration.

  • Modernize legacy SharePoint customizations, InfoPath forms, and workflows by transitioning to Power Platform.

  • Support existing Power Platform solutions tied to SharePoint environments.

  • Write and maintain PowerShell automation for admin tasks, validation, and migration prep.

  • Communicate technical risk and tradeoffs to clients at the Director level and beyond.

  • Manage concurrent client engagements with discipline and clarity.

About You

  • 4+ years hands-on SharePoint administration and solution delivery.

  • Proven experience with SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online.

  • Track record leading or executing SharePoint and file server migrations.

  • Strong, hands-on experience building Power Apps (Canvas Apps as primary skill).

  • Practical Power Automate experience designing and maintaining workflows at scale.

  • Demonstrated ability to modernize or replace legacy SharePoint workflows and forms using Power Platform.

  • Solid foundation in Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, IIS, DNS, SQL Server.

  • PowerShell proficiency.

  • Client-facing experience managing multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Critical Requirement

U.S. Person Status (ITAR Compliance): You must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or possess valid work authorization as defined by ITAR regulations). This is a hard gate. We cannot proceed without confirmation of your eligibility.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Model-Driven Apps or Dataverse design.

  • Power BI reporting or analytics experience.

  • Experience with ShareGate, AvePoint, or comparable migration tools.

  • Nintex Workflow or Forms background—especially modernization projects.

  • Microsoft certifications (SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365).
