Maverick Search Partners has been exclusively engaged to lead this search
About the Company
Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) has been a cornerstone of the testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services industry since 1967. Headquartered in Marietta, GA, ATS supports clients across manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense — sectors where regulatory precision and operational integrity are non-negotiable. With nearly 2,100 team members operating across 95+ U.S. locations, ATS combines national scale with a clear mission: delivering assurance through precise technical and professional services, and creating a safer, more reliable world in the process.
The Opportunity
ATS is looking for a Compliance Manager to own and lead the company's U.S. regulatory compliance programs. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — you'll be shaping policy, advising leadership, partnering across functions, and ensuring ATS remains fully aligned with the complex regulatory frameworks that govern its work, including ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and FAR.
This isn't a check-the-box compliance role. ATS needs someone who can think strategically, communicate clearly at every level of the organization, and build a genuine culture of regulatory excellence — not just a culture of paperwork.
The position is onsite at either the corporate office in Marietta, GA or the Phoenix, AZ location.
