Day Shift Assembly Technician & Shipping/Receiving

Fortis Security Products, a leading manufacturer of physical security products for financial institutions and commercial businesses, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Lawrenceburg, IN. We are hiring for a dual-role position combining Assembly Technician and Shipping/Receiving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly: Assemble and test physical security products and components with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.

• Shipping & Receiving: Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. This includes preparing orders, packing, labeling, and coordinating with carriers.

• Inventory: Maintain an organized work area and assist with stock and inventory counts as needed.

• Quality Control: Ensure all finished products and shipments meet company quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment is preferred.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Basic computer skills.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliable and a good team player.
