A Fargo company is adding a Safety Assistant to their team. This person will be responsible for assisting their safety director. The company is willing to train, but a background in the construction industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client and contractor compliance
• Support workers compensation and incident reporting
• Schedule drug and alcohol testing
• Track employee certifications, licenses, and training requirements.
• Assist with DOT and driver compliance documentation
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Help maintain company policies, procedures, and safety documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative or compliance experience preferred
• OSHA certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong computer skills
• Experience working in the construction industry
