AutoCAD Drafter (Specialty Construction Contractor)

• Evaluate projects with sales and/or the customer to determine the best solution for the job.
• Prepare a detailed equipment list based on the construction layouts.
• Coordinate project details with all parties involved; customer, sales, shipping, vendors, etc. and respond to inquiries and requests as needed.
• Attend jobsite visits to review project conditions, discuss project goals and expectations with the customer as well as aid in proper material assembly.

• While a four-year College degree not required, the candidate must have formal training related to AutoCAD and/or engineering design or one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General understanding of industry practice and construction knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD as well as computer knowledge including, but not limited to Teams, Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Strong mathematic skills are required.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess a valid driver’s license
