Custom Cabinetry & Millwork company is seeking an experienced Weinig Moulder Operator who is self motivated to join our growing team.  Company offer competitive pay, a great and flexible work environment, and a great benefits package.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•          Cuts, slices and trims wood to predetermined specifications.
•          Move material in and out as needed
•          Read work order and determine appropriate action and sequence
•          Set up moulder machine
•          Select appropriate grinding knives depending on specified cut
•          Operate saws and other machines to cut stock using highest grade cut possible
•          Trim defects from stock
•          Sharpen blades as needed, clean machines and apply lubricant as needed
•          Work on other projects as assigned
•          Clean up work area as needed.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCES

•          2+ years of experience involving moulder or similar job duties
•          Trained to read and understand work orders
•          Trained to read and set up machines
•          Trained to recognize and differentiate various wood types, color, grain and texture

PERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•         Ability to work in a team environment in order to coordinate work and completion on the same projects
•          Ability to multi task

WORKING CONDITIONS

•          Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs or more
•          Must wear protective eyeglasses as required
•          Must wear protective ear devices as required or as needed
•          Must wear protective face mask as required or as needed
•          Must use machine guards to avoid injury
•          Must follow all safety rules and practices in operating machinery and using tools and equipment
