We’re looking for a CAD Technician with a passion for precision and creativity to join our dynamic team.
What You’ll Do
As a CAD Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our design process, transforming architectural visions into detailed, buildable models using SolidWorks. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to bring projects from concept to fabrication.
· Interpret architectural and structural drawings to capture design intent and attachment conditions.
· Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop preliminary and shop drawings.
· Create and revise engineering and fabrication drawings that guide production teams.
· Coordinate with field managers to incorporate real-world measurements and feedback.
· Manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and professionalism.
· Troubleshoot design challenges and contribute to innovative solutions.
What You Bring
· Associate’s degree in architectural technology, engineering, or equivalent CAD experience.
· 2–3 years of SolidWorks experience, especially with assemblies and weldments.
· Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
