Position Summary
We are looking for an estimator who will support our sales, project management, and production teams by generating accurate quotes and helping evaluate project feasibility. This is a full time position suited for a recent graduate from an architectural program. We will train the right person. A positive attitude, strong organization, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed project estimates based on drawings, specifications, and customer information
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and details
• Review design intent to determine feasibility and identify any issues that need clarification
• Work with the Operations and Studio teams to understand materials, construction methods, and fabrication approaches
• Prepare clear and organized estimate documents for our customers and internal teams
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and the Studio team to gather missing information
• Learn and use Epicor, our ERP system. Full training will be provided
• Learn and use Rhino for takeoffs, measurements, and basic modeling tasks
• Understand production processes so estimates reflect real labor and material needs
• Support continuous improvement by helping refine estimating standards and templates
• Maintain accurate records and work in an organized and detail focused manner
Required Qualifications
• Degree in Architecture or a closely related field
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings confidently
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and understand feasibility
• Good communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
• Willingness to learn Rhino and Epicor
• Positive attitude and desire to grow with the company
