Engineering:

• Design product handling systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Create engineering drawings to be released for manufacturing
• Use ERP software to generate purchase orders to order components for designed equipment
• Create technical manuals for the equipment designed
• Work with other team members to improve processes and designs

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

· Will be required to cross-train in other areas to further develop design for manufacturing skill set

Required Skills and qualifications:

• Advanced SolidWorks skills
• Advanced understanding of design for manufacturing
• Positive can-do attitude
• Energetic and eager to learn

Preferred Skills and qualifications:

• Experience in designing conveyor systems and automation systems
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering field
• Experience in the food and beverage industry
• Understanding of industrial controls/ PLC programming
