Position Overview (This is a 5-month temp to perm position):

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for recent graduates from industrial design or architecture programs who are ready to launch their careers. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering custom solutions for their clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

 

Training Program:

  • Duration: 5 months
  • Compensation: $18.00 hour  
  • Details: During the training period, you will gain hands-on experience at their facility, learning their processes and products. Upon successful completion of training, you will be eligible for direct hire, a pay increase, and access to full benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects after the sales team secures a deposit.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via email and other channels, ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Use Rhino 3D or similar software to create shop drawings based on customer-provided architectural drawings.
  • Adapt their products to fit unique project requirements and solve environmental challenges.
  • Prototype and test as necessary to ensure optimal performance and design.
  • Prepare detailed production files for the shop team to execute manufacturing.
  • Order project-specific materials and supplies in a timely manner.
  • Manage the project lifecycle, keeping the customer and internal teams informed throughout.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate from an industrial design or architecture program.
  • Proficient in Rhino 3D or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle conflict professionally.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
