Position Overview
We’re looking for a Water Resources Project Manager to lead civil and environmental engineering projects focused on stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, and watershed management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical design, client interaction, and project leadership—and wants to make a real impact on community and environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Manage water resources projects from planning through delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Oversee stormwater, hydrology, and hydraulics analysis for regulatory-compliant designs.

Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams.

Prepare reports, documentation, and technical analyses.

Guide permitting processes and maintain compliance with state and local regulations.

Build and maintain client relationships; support business development.

Present technical information to stakeholders, agencies, and community groups.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota.

Proven project management experience with municipal, state, or local government projects.

Strong technical background in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater systems.

Ability to communicate clearly with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
Preferred Skills

Experience with MicroStation or other CADD tools.

Background supervising or mentoring junior staff.

Strong written communication and presentation skills.
