Pay Range: $28–$36 per hour (final offer based on experience, skills, and overall contribution)

Role Overview
The Injection Molding Process Technician plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production by setting up, operating, and optimizing injection and compression molding equipment. This hands-on technical role involves monitoring processes, adjusting parameters, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting production goals. The position also serves as a technical resource on the floor, helping train and mentor team members to support a smooth and productive workflow.
What You’ll Do

Set up, operate, and calibrate injection and compression molding machines, including mold installation and auxiliary equipment.

Perform machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of molds and machines.

Sample materials, perform mold tryouts, and monitor cycle times to maintain productivity levels.

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials, molds, and finished goods.

Train and support technicians, operators, and production associates on equipment and processes.

Maintain accurate process documentation, machine settings, and production data.

Work cross-functionally with quality and support teams to address defects, tooling issues, and corrective actions.

Assist with shift handoffs and communicate key updates to supervisors and team members.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scrap reduction, and operational excellence.

Maintain organization of molding storage areas, cabinets, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational policies.
What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics or manufacturing preferred.

2+ years of hands-on injection molding setup and processing experience.

Strong knowledge of molding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with quality standards, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
