What You’ll Do

As a Construction Field Superintendent, you’ll be the driving force behind multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include

Field Superintendent
Manages production
Manages subcontractors
Responsible for in house man hours 
Understands full SOW
OK's SOWs
Holds safety meetings on site 
Brings pre build checklist to Pre build meetings
Pre con meeting on every job
Creates initial gant chart-start to finish including all SOW***
BT daily logs every day on every job - pictures when on site
Enforces PPE
Ensures site is ready for high labor efficiency-subs/in house
gives 72 hour start notice to subs-verbal and email
Inventory checklist/materials
Equipment on site in good working order
Informs PC/PM immediately if any part of the gant is affected for any reason
Informs PC/PM of any plan and spec issues or lack of needed details asap
Use proper coding on any POs
Fill in for missing Field personell/punchlist work/equipment mobilizing
on site or in the respective office at 7:00 AM
Schedule necessary inspections/ensure subs are doing the same
Ensure jobsite is organized, safe and spotless at all times
Responsible for QC - provides information for subcontractor ratings in list
Always has toolbelt and basic tools ready when needed.
Punchlist walkthrough with customer
Leading superintendent duties across multiple job sites.
Tracking project progress, conducting inspections, and securing permits.
Hosting pre-construction meetings and participating in daily scheduling calls.
Coordinating materials, equipment, and crew assignments to keep projects on schedule.
Managing change orders, punch lists, and final walkthroughs with customers.
Training, mentoring, and supporting crews and subcontractors.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures every day.

What They’re Looking For

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, tools, and equipment.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members.
Proven organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Hands-on leadership experience in construction management.
Comfortable with technology (laptops, tablets, smartphones).
Safety matters to us. You should be capable of working outdoors at heights up to 40 feet and using hand/power tools in a safe and responsible manner.
