Welder (Pulse & MIG), direct hire.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in producing large customized tanks, including pressure vessels, sprinkler tanks, and sump basins. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding 1/4 inch to 1 inch plate steel, primarily working with carbon and occasionally stainless steel. The role may require climbing into tanks to weld from the inside as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on 1/4 inch to 1 inch plates.
• Work with 90% mild steel and 10% stainless steel.
• Climb into tanks to weld from the inside if needed.
• Produce large customized tanks, such as pressure vessels, sprinkler tanks, and sump basins.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in short run welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with plate welding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding Degree.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to assist in other areas as needed.
