Our client is located in Southeastern Minnesota.

MDS Staffing is seeking a skilled and details-oriented HVAC BIM/CAD operator to support our design and coordination efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical drafting, 3D modeling and BIM coordinating for HVAC systems in commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain HVAC system layouts using Revit & Navisworks.
• Develop accurate shop and installation drawings for field use
• Coordinate HVAC systems with other trades through clash detection and model review
• Maintain drawing standards and project documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to resolve design conflicts

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience in HVAC drafting, CAD, or BIM coordination
• Proficiency in Revit & Navisworks and related BIM software
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems
• Experience with MEP coordination and construction practices
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems
