Mechanical Designer Drafter

Basic Responsibilities:

• Executes basic- and detail engineering drawings from assemblies through detail parts, including sheet metal parts
• Creates and revises drawings for plants and equipment
• Creates and revises technical information sheets

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Technical School in Mechanical Drafting
• 2 – 10 years of experience with industrial plant/equipment layout (grain, food processing, agricultural, etc.)
• Strong 3-dimensional cognitive ability and capability to read and create isometric and perspective drawings
• Excellent skills/knowledge of SolidWorks
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Good MS Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
