Industrial Painter

We are looking to hire an Industrial Painter to join our 1st shift team in a production environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for applying industrial epoxy coatings to large carbon-steel storage tanks, air receivers, pressure vessels, and custom-fabricated tanks. The primary focus is on spraying epoxy primer and topcoat systems. The painter should also be capable of basic sanding/grinding prep only when the regular prep/sandblasting person is unavailable.

Minimum Education Required

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.)

• Associated technical degree/certification within the field OR several years of experience within the field (preferred)

Minimum Experience Required

• Industrial painting experience with epoxy or two-part coating systems.

• Experience painting large fabricated steel, tanks, vessels, or structural steel.

• Ability to perform basic sanding/grinding prep work when needed.

• Comfortable working inside tank interiors (confined spaces).

• Ability to follow coating specs and verify mil thickness.

• Strong attendance and dependability.

• Experience assisting sandblasting or metal prep teams is a plus

• Ability to operate forklifts or aerial lifts is a plus

• Previous work in a tank/vessel fabrication environment is a plus.
