Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Automation Specialist in Calgary, AB with expertise in either of the following platforms: Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell Automation systems or Schneider Electric Triconex technology.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Rockwell Automation products (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems).
- Configure and maintain Schneider Electric Triconex safety systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Emerson DeltaV
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning of automation solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to automation processes, system configurations, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, with a focus on Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell Automation or Schneider Triconex systems.
- Drawing Reviews (Control Narratives, Shutdown Key, Alarm Lists, etc)
- Participate and/or facilitate HAT, FAT and SAT activities.
- Strong programming knowledge in one or more of the following platiforms: Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell Automation systems or Schneider Electric Triconex technology.
- Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and functional safety standards.
- Proficiency in networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
