Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Offshore Rope Access Mechanical Lead Technician (Level 2) in St. John’s, NL.

Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical components, including piping, structural repairs, blasting, and painting.
• Perform advanced rope maneuvers
• Install, manage, and inspect complex, multi-point rigging systems
• Ensure strict adherence to IRATA safety protocols, conduct site-specific risk assessments, and perform pre-use checks on equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid IRATA Level 2 or equivalent (SPRAT Level 2).
• A minimum of 12 months and 1,000 logged hours as an IRATA Level 1 Technician.
• Experience using clamshell cutters
• High level of physical fitness and valid BST
• Certifications such as NDT methods (UT2, MT2, PT2), CWB welding, or mechanical trades
