Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Contract Field Operator in Lloydminster, SK.

Responsibilities

·         Operate and Monitor Equipment: Oversee the operation of pumps, compressors, and other Midstream production equipment. Ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.

·         Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.

·         Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

·         Data Collection: Record and analyze production data. Use this information to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

·         Environmental Stewardship: Ensure all operations comply with environmental regulations. Participate in initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

·         Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including equipment failures and environmental incidents. Participate in emergency response drills.

·         Team Collaboration: Work closely with other field operators, engineers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed.

Requirements  

·         High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in oil and gas operations is preferred.

·         5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS) are required.

·         Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment. Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule.
