Maderra Personnel is currently seeking two (2) qualified individuals for the position of Civil Engineer to contribute to the successful execution of projects across Newfoundland and Labrador.

Located in St. John's, NL, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil/Structural) with 5 years experience since graduation;  
• Membership in the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) as a professional engineer;  
• Experience in developing and managing engineering consultant contracts; 
• Experience in developing and managing construction contracts;  
• Experience with review of engineering drawings identifying problems and resolutions; 
• Experience in engineering projects estimating, development and project management techniques;  
• Proven and demonstrated communication skills;  
• Ability to thrive as a participant and/or leader within a multi-discipline team of both internal and external resources; 
• Experience in structural engineering design would be an asset;  
• Experience in project management would be an asset;
