Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP II) provides therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures. Focus is placed on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care, considering specific age and population needs. May act as Lead RCP in supervisor's absence.

Requirements:

• Active State of Ohio RCP License
  
  

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
  
  

• Current BCLS certification (AHA)
  
  

• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire (maintain current)
  
  

• PALS certification within 60 days of hire (maintain current)
  
  

• NRP certification preferred
  
  

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
  
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
