Position Overview
The Radiographer – CT performs computed tomography scans, producing detailed images for diagnosis. You’ll assess patients and apply the appropriate imaging protocols, ensuring the best care possible in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This role also involves adhering to radiation safety practices and maintaining high standards of patient care, quality imaging, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols

• Assess patient needs and select appropriate imaging techniques

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures

• Interpret images, collaborate with radiologists, and adjust procedures as needed

• Maintain equipment, document procedures, and send images to the PACS system

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT)

• Active Illinois Emergency Management Department of Nuclear Safety license

• Post-primary CT certification required within one year of hire

• CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
