Job Opportunity: Radiology Technologist

Location: Chicago, IL

 

CompuRay is currently seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team in supporting a prominent orthopedic center in Chicago. We are looking for a skilled professional with a passion for producing high-quality images and a willingness to collaborate effectively in an orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures using state-of-the-art CR and DR x-ray equipment.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and positioning skills to ensure the production of top-quality images.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the orthopedic medical team to meet patient care requirements.
  • Display confidence in performing orthopedic radiographs, with an openness to further enhance skills in this specialized area.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all radiographic procedures.
  • Foster effective communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in radiology.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Illinois.
  • Proven experience as a Radiology Technologist, with a focus on orthopedic radiography being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CR and DR x-ray equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
  • ARRT
  • IEMA
  • BLS
  • Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Experience Required: 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient settingExperience Preferred: 2-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Days: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-1pm
