We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory EHR Analyst to support the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the EpicCare Ambulatory application. The analyst will partner closely with physicians, clinical leadership, operations teams, and IT stakeholders to enhance ambulatory workflows, improve provider efficiency, support regulatory requirements, and optimize patient care delivery across outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate is EpicCare Ambulatory certified and possesses strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with experience supporting ambulatory clinics, specialty practices, implementations, upgrades, and organizational optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain EpicCare Ambulatory functionality.
  • Analyze business and clinical workflows and recommend system enhancements that improve efficiency, patient outcomes, and provider satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain ambulatory master files, records, and configuration settings.
  • Participate in all phases of the system lifecycle including planning, design, build, testing, training support, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
  • Lead or support Epic upgrades, enhancement projects, community connect initiatives, and ambulatory expansion efforts.
  • Review and implement Nova Notes and Epic Foundation System updates.
  • Develop test plans and complete unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clinical operations, providers, and information technology teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated workflows involving Cadence, MyChart, Patient Access, Referrals, and other Epic applications.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and resolve escalated incidents and service requests.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, build records, support materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Key Qualifications: 

  • Current EpicCare Ambulatory Certification.
  • 3+ years of Epic Ambulatory analyst experience.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and outpatient operations.
  • Experience gathering requirements, performing workflow analysis, and translating operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to independently manage build, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
