Senior MEDITECH Pharmacy Analyst

Long-Term Contract | Remote with Occasional Travel

Intellect Resources is working on a role for our client, a large healthcare organization, who is seeking a Senior MEDITECH Pharmacy Analyst to support ongoing MEDITECH Expanse initiatives and optimization efforts. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for Pharmacy workflows, collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver system enhancements, support implementations, and drive end-user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, test, and optimize MEDITECH Expanse Pharmacy applications.
• Support implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Develop and execute testing plans, validation activities, and workflow analyses.
• Partner with pharmacists, clinicians, and operational leaders to improve medication management processes.
• Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, and training materials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of MEDITECH Pharmacy Analyst experience.
• Strong experience with MEDITECH Expanse Pharmacy preferred.
• Hands-on experience with implementation, optimization, or upgrade projects.
• Deep understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows and medication management processes.
• Experience conducting system build, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with clinical and technical teams.
• Healthcare provider or consulting experience strongly preferred.

Preferred

• Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, or related pharmacy operations background.
• Multiple MEDITECH implementation or optimization project experiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
