The System Bus Analyst – Healthcare Revenue Cycle is responsible for supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise integration and messaging platforms that facilitate data exchange between Revenue Cycle applications and clinical, financial, and third-party systems.
This role serves as the technical liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations, Information Technology, EHR teams, clearinghouses, payer systems, and external vendors. The analyst will ensure accurate and reliable transmission of patient accounting, claims, charges, eligibility, remittance, payment, and financial data across the organization's integration ecosystem.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, interface technologies, healthcare messaging standards, and enterprise integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain healthcare integration platforms, system buses, interface engines, and data exchange services.
• Support inbound and outbound Revenue Cycle interfaces across registration, scheduling, billing, claims, remittance, and financial systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve interface errors, data transmission failures, and integration issues.
• Coordinate interface deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure reliable and secure data movement between internal and external systems.
• Support integrations involving:
  • Patient Access
  • Registration

  • Hospital Billing
  • Professional Billing
  • Claims Processing
  • Remittance Processing
  • Collection Agencies
  • General Ledger Systems
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to understand workflow requirements and identify integration improvements.
• Validate interface functionality supporting reimbursement and billing operations.

Key Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting healthcare systems, interfaces, or integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience supporting Epic.
• Experience troubleshooting interface and integration issues.
• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards including:
  • HL7
  • X12 Transactions
  • Claims Files
  • Remittance Transactions
  • Eligibility Transactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
