We are seeking an experienced Facility Structure Analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation and activation effort. This role is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of facility structure components that enable both acute and ambulatory departments to become operational within Epic.

Unlike many organizations where Facility Structure responsibilities are managed primarily through the Grand Central team, this position encompasses a broader scope of application build and workflow coordination across both inpatient and outpatient environments. The analyst will work closely with operational, clinical, patient access, and application teams to ensure departments are fully configured and ready for go-live.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Epic Cadence or Epic Ambulatory certification and possess a strong understanding of department setup, provider workflows, patient access functions, and Epic application integrations.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the design, build, validation, and maintenance of facility structure records across acute and ambulatory settings.
• Configure and support Epic department records and associated application build required to operationalize new departments and clinics.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure departmental workflows are appropriately represented within Epic.
• Perform all required configuration activities necessary to bring departments live.
  Coordinate provider linking and departmental relationships across multiple Epic applications.
• Configure and maintain:
  
  • Work Queues (WQs)
  • InBasket pools
  • Department records
  • Provider assignments and linking
  • Immunization-related configuration
• Participate in integrated testing, workflow validation, and go-live preparation activities.
• Partner with Ambulatory, Patient Access, Grand Central, Clinical Applications, Security, and Training teams to support implementation objectives.
• Analyze operational workflows and translate business requirements into Epic solutions.
• Develop and execute test scripts for facility structure-related workflows.
• Participate in unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support go-live activities, command center operations, and post-live stabilization efforts.
• Troubleshoot build and workflow issues and provide timely resolution.

Key Requirements: 

• Current Epic certification in Cadence or Ambulatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Epic analyst experience supporting ambulatory, patient access, or facility structure workflows.
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or large-scale optimization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of department setup, provider records, work queues, and operational workflows.
• Experience supporting outpatient clinical and patient access environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across multiple teams.
