EpicCare Inpatient EMR Analyst

We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Inpatient EMR Analyst to support the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of EpicCare Inpatient applications within a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong EpicCare Inpatient expertise, a deep understanding of clinical workflows, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality EHR solutions. Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and post-production support is highly desirable. This role aligns with EpicCare Inpatient-focused initiatives identified in current healthcare client engagements.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze clinical and operational workflows and translate business requirements into EpicCare Inpatient system design and build.
  • Configure, test, implement, and optimize EpicCare Inpatient functionality.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical informatics teams, and operational leaders to improve workflow efficiency and user adoption.
  • Participate in application upgrades, system enhancements, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Build and maintain system documentation, workflows, testing scripts, and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution of support tickets.
  • Support go-live activities, stabilization efforts, and post-production optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional Epic application teams to ensure seamless workflow integration across the enterprise.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational standards, change control processes, and Epic best practices.

Key Requirements: 

  • EpicCare Inpatient Certification required.
  • 3+ years of EpicCare Inpatient analyst experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementation, optimization, upgrade, or migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
  • Experience with workflow analysis, system build, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
