oin a client-focused insurance brokerage seeking a technically strong Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager or service-focused Account Executive to manage a sophisticated book generating approximately $1 million in annual revenue.

The portfolio primarily consists of hospitality, commercial property, and cannabis-related accounts. This position is ideal for an experienced commercial insurance professional who understands complex coverage, stays highly organized, and consistently delivers accurate work.

Location: San Diego area

Salary: $110,00 - $125,000


The Role:

• Manage and retain a $1 million revenue book of middle-market and large commercial accounts
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients
• Handle accounts primarily within hospitality, commercial property, and cannabis-related industries
• Lead renewals, including gathering exposure information, preparing submissions, reviewing quotes, and presenting coverage options
• Review policies, endorsements, certificates, contracts, and coverage requirements for accuracy
• Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
• Coordinate marketing efforts with producers, carrier partners, and wholesale brokers
• Negotiate coverage terms, conditions, pricing, and available alternatives
• Maintain accurate account documentation and workflows using Applied Epic
• Manage multiple complex renewals, service requests, and deadlines
• Build lasting relationships with clients, producers, underwriters, and carrier partners

What You Bring:

• Significant commercial lines account-management experience
• Experience servicing middle-market and/or large commercial accounts
• Strong technical insurance knowledge and coverage expertise
• Experience with hospitality, commercial property, cannabis, or similarly complex risks strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage a large and sophisticated book of business
• Proficiency in Applied Epic is required
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active Property and Casualty insurance license
