Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid role based in downtown Portland, Oregon, with attorneys working in-office at least 3 days per week. Full-time in-office is also welcome. Relocation support is available for attorneys moving to Portland.
Note: Must have relevant experience and academic background aligned with energy, administrative, regulatory, environmental, telecommunications, or other closely related practice areas, along with strong legal research and writing skills.

Job Description
- Advise clients on energy regulatory and administrative law matters
- Support matters involving electric, natural gas, water, and other regulated industry clients
- Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other written work product
- Help clients navigate issues tied to the energy transition, including clean energy mandates, infrastructure, siting, and regulatory compliance
- Assist with proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies
- Collaborate closely with attorneys on strategic client counseling and case management
- Analyze complex regulatory frameworks and translate them into practical legal advice
- Contribute to a growing practice serving sophisticated clients across the region
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed attorney or ability to become licensed as needed
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Relevant experience in administrative law, regulatory law, energy law, environmental law, telecommunications law, or other regulated industries preferred
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-facing environment
