Compensation: $320,000 annually

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Endocrinologist. This role offers a uniquely collaborative and flexible practice model, giving you the rare opportunity to structure your ideal work schedule while enjoying a highly lucrative, production-backed compensation structure. Working alongside an established internal specialist team, you will step into an active patient panel with immense growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for a full spectrum of endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders.
- Manage a robust, established patient panel focusing on advanced diabetes care, thyroid diseases, pituitary/adrenal disorders, and metabolic bone disease.
- Partner and collaborate seamlessly with the existing on-site team, currently comprised of one experienced physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Work your choice of a highly flexible practice schedule, with options for approximately 3 focused days per week or an alternating week-on/week-off rotation.
- Manage minor clinical call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical lab values as needed (no arduous, traditional hospital call burdens).
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all patient consultations and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency followed by an Endocrinology Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology
- Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
- Valid DEA registration
- Strong communication and clinical leadership skills to successfully collaborate within a physician/APP team model
