**Heavy Civil Project Manager **

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan and develop civil construction projects in alignment with project requirements and engineering standards.- Manage project budgets to meet required margins, provide accurate cost and revenue projections, and address budget variances to ensure profitability.- Create and regularly update project schedules with realistic timelines for future tasks.- Oversee project quality control, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client contracts, and specifications.- Enforce adherence to company and site safety policies, including Incident and Injury Free protocols, fostering a strong safety culture.- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and correspondence, and prepare analytical reports for senior management.- Collaborate with field management to resolve discrepancies between project plans and site execution.- Approve equipment or personnel changes and requisitions submitted by superintendents.- Escalate issues to upper management when necessary and communicate effectively.- Organize and assign project staff based on project needs, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities for the team.- Conduct weekly project team meetings to review scheduling and costs.- Provide ongoing financial projections of project performance and submit timely payment requisitions.- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of contract terms, specifications, project schedules, milestones, and reasons for delays.- Oversee issuance and performance management of subcontracts and supplier purchase orders.- Perform additional duties as assigned.
