What You'll Do

• Source, order, and manage inventory for construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, and/or related parts
• Assist customers and technicians in identifying the correct parts for equipment repairs
• Handle parts requests in person, by telephone, and through email
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Research parts availability, pricing, interchange information, and special-order items
• Work closely with service technicians to ensure required parts are available for scheduled and emergency repairs
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with parts vendors and suppliers
• Help obtain competitive pricing and identify alternative sources for difficult-to-find parts
• Maintain accurate inventory and parts records
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Maintain an organized and efficient parts and warehouse area
• Provide professional, responsive customer service
• Follow company safety procedures and established parts-management processes

What We're Looking For

• Previous parts experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, equipment rental, or a related industry
• Ability to identify, research, source, and order parts accurately
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with computers and electronic parts/inventory systems
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple parts requests in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to work closely with technicians and service personnel
• Strong commitment to customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening

Compensation

$25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on relevant parts experience and qualifications.
