What you'll be doing:
•In an issued service vehicle, visit customer sites and perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all types mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic, diesel-powered equipment, in a manner in accordance with safety training and protocols and with the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
• Work is performed both in the field and in the shop
• Install new or reconditioned parts
• Complete paperwork and forms correctly and in a timely manner, such as service reports, timecards, parts orders, parts returns, etc.
•Promote a proper company image by exhibiting a professional demeanor
•Contribute to a positive work environment as a team player with a high level of work ethic, motivation, focus, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others
• Maintain a clean, neat service truck and keep the equipment carried on the service truck organized.
• Shift work, weekends and/or 24-hour call may be required.
• Operates lifting devices.
• Requires basic working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Maintaining the service truck and equipment carried on the service truck.
What we are looking for:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment required.
• Must have a complete set of tools for working on heavy equipment.
• Requires basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits, drawings, or prints.
• Familiarity with electronic components such as cables, connectors, sensors
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and manuals.
• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize work and complete on schedule in a fast paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Self motivated with a high level of work ethic, motivation, focus, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.
• Detail-oriented individual with a high level of problem-solving skills
