Heavy Truck / Toyota Propane Forklift Shop Mechanic

Heavy Truck and Forklift Technician position in Fort Lauderdale!
$31-$40/hour plus benefits

We are looking for a resourceful type of technician that is willing to diversify his/her skill set beyond just truck repairs. Our client's manufacturing facility has equipment that will periodically need attention. These type of repairs are manageable for any competent heavy truck mechanic. We also have numerous forklifts both propane and diesel.

Technicians are required to have their own appropriately sized heavy truck industry tools in the upward inches and mm, not fractions of inch or low mm.

PM work on fleet of Mack, Freightliner and Western Star heavy trucks. (10 units)

PM work on fleet of Toyota propane forklifts (20 units)

Troubleshooting

Repairs and maintenance on brakes, clutches, tires

Remove and replacement of hydraulic cylinder seals and hoses

Some machining with inhouse lathe would be helpful

Some welding with inhouse equipment would be helpful

12 volt electrical
