Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Business Developer to join our growing team in the Houston metro area. This role will focus on acquiring new commercial landscape maintenance contracts, with a strong emphasis on Homeowners Associations (HOAs).
The ideal candidate brings a background in sales within commercial services—landscape, pest control, waste management, pool maintenance, or related facility services—and has an established network within the HOA management world.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, prospect, and close new commercial landscape maintenance accounts, particularly with HOAs, property management firms, and residential developers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including HOA board members, community managers, and management companies.

Develop and execute territory growth plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

Conduct site walks and assessments to develop tailored proposals in partnership with estimating and operations teams.

Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade associations.

Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of new accounts.

Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM and provide regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications:

3+ years of proven sales success in commercial services—landscaping, pest control, pool maintenance, waste management, janitorial, or similar.

Established relationships within the Houston HOA and property management community strongly preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills with a hunter mentality and consultative selling approach.

Ability to manage a full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
