Job Title: Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our client’s team for either fulltime or as a contractor.  The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure projects — including site development, transportation, utilities, and structural systems. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, and site developments.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
• Utilize design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) to develop engineering plans.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and data to ensure project feasibility and accuracy.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance and problem-solving support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in civil design, construction, or project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software.
• Strong understanding of local codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
