Our client is a Civic Organization and they need help for their one day recycling event held in Flint.
 
This Tire Recycling event and each family can bring up to 10 tires to be recycled. This temporary role requires lifting of tires out of cars and bringing them to an onsite storage location.
 
You must be able to lift up to 40lbs and be able to stand, squat and move freely, unaided.
 
This is a one day event held on June 27 from 8am-1pm.

Event Overview & Requirements

Thank you for helping with the Genesee County one day recycle day event.  Please review the critical details below to ensure a smooth first day.

  • Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026

  • Shift Time:8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Please arrive 10–15 minutes early)

  • Role Description: Assisting local families by lifting discarded tires (up to 10 per vehicle) out of cars and transferring them to the onsite storage area.

  • Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand, squat, and move freely unaided for the duration of the shift.

  • Address:6515 Dort Hwy, Flint, MI 48505

  • Parking: Do not park at the event site. Park directly across the street in the designated lot highlighted on the attached map.

 Arrival Instructions

  1. Park across the street in the highlighted lot and cross safely to the main site.

  2. Report directly to the main event area.

  3. Ask for: Dru Hajec to check in, receive your station assignment, and complete any quick morning briefing.
