Skilled Precision CNC Machinist – Mill or Lathe

Position Title: CNC Precision Machinist (Mill or Lathe Specialist)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40–50 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Overtime: Optional Saturdays available
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience in precision programming & machining

Position Overview:
We have an open position for a skilled Precision Machinist specializing in either CNC Mill or CNC Lathe programming and machining. This individual will be responsible for programming, setup, and production of high-precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.  This is a contract to hire role with a fantastic, family owned company.  Outstanding opportunity to professionally advance your career in a stabile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Mills or Lathes

• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

• Perform precision machining with tight tolerances

• Edit G-code and optimize programs for efficiency

• Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks

• Troubleshoot machining or programming issues

• Maintain clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Experience in precision CNC programming and machining

• Strong knowledge of Mill or Lathe operations

• Ability to hold tight tolerances

• Proficiency reading blueprints and GD&T

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Dependable with strong work ethic
