Our client, a global fitness company, is seeking an HR and Culture Manager for their Chicago office. This is a critical and high-profile position within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for HR functions and employee engagement, impacting all staff and helping to cultivate a positive and engaging workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
**HR Management:** Oversee onboarding of new employees, ensure compliance, and manage payroll and benefits administration.**Employee Relations:** Foster an engaging workplace, collaborate with colleagues and leadership to resolve issues, provide coaching to employees and management, and monitor office dynamics to enhance employee engagement.**Talent Acquisition:** Assist in recruiting and organizing interviews for potential hires.**Office Administration** (approximately 10% of daily responsibilities): Ensure the office is stocked with supplies and manage vendors and deliveries.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least 3 years of experience working in HR.- Experience managing payroll and payroll compliance (the client partners with a third party for payroll processing).- A background in coaching staff and resolving employee concerns or conflicts.- Experience collaborating with C-suite leadership to develop office-wide initiatives, including company parties, celebrations, meetings, team recognition events, and other employee engagement activities.- Some experience with office management.- The ability to work a hybrid on-site schedule in the Chicago office.
