Full Stack Developer

Specific Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our applications.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Assists in component architecture, performance engineering, product evaluation and support.
• Translates business requirements into technical design.
• Evaluates new frameworks and assist with technology selection.

Required skills:

• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript / JQuery / AJAX
• Proficiency with server side languages such as, Java, PHP and Laravel.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS and Vue.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

• Experience with Content Management Systems is a plus
• Experience with SAP Crystal Report generation is a plus
• Experience with Git, Confluence and Jira is a plus

Position Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of proven development experience.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
