Business Banker

Overview:

Join our client's dynamic team in Plymouth as a Business Banker II and play a vital role in nurturing and expanding a diverse commercial banking portfolio, typically ranging from $15 to $25 million. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in relationship management and banking solutions to drive growth and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster and enhance existing business banking relationships by introducing new loans, deposits, and other financial products and services.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand your client portfolio.
• Assess and mitigate credit risks, recommending effective solutions for each transaction.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of bank-customer relationships and commitments.
• Ensure adherence to all loan policies, procedures, and legal standards.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and complete all required compliance training.
• Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, ensuring full compliance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in personal or business banking sales preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of cash management products and MS Office proficiency, especially in Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance preferred.

Compensation:  $75,000 - 90,000+ depending on credit training and sales experience
