Noise & Vibration Engineer – Shape the Future of Quiet Innovation

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects across industries such as aerospace, automotive, and consumer products, making a real impact on product performance and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, model, and test application-specific solutions to resolve vibration issues.
• Analyze noise and vibration concerns and provide targeted recommendations.
• Conduct experimental modal testing to identify mode shapes and resonant frequencies.
• Implement practical, manufacturable solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients.
• Create and present clear, actionable reports.
• Manage durability and environmental tests for product evaluation.
• Collaborate directly with customers to design application-specific solutions.
• Oversee projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.

  Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Vibration/Acoustics Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 3+ years in vibration or acoustics engineering within product development. Master’s degree may offset experience requirements.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of vibration/acoustic testing and constrained layer damping evaluation.
• Proficiency with Finite Element simulation tools, Microsoft Office, and MATLAB or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with FEMAP and NX Nastran preferred.
• Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, or Quality certifications are a plus.

  Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (approx. 40–45 hours/week).
  Travel: Occasional, as needed for customer support.
  Work Environment: Lab/Office setting.
