We are seeking a Financial Specialist Senior to support the financial operations of a diverse portfolio of venues, recreation facilities, and event-based operations. This role partners closely with finance leadership and operational teams to ensure accurate financial processes, compliance, and effective support of daily business activities and special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain daily cash receipts and financial records.
• Assist with procurement activities and purchasing processes.
• Support accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and data entry.
• Coordinate financial activities related to events, programs, and venue operations.
• Partner with operations teams and external stakeholders to ensure all financial requirements are met before, during, and after events.
• Provide administrative and financial support to leadership as needed.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities assigned by finance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting financial, accounting, or fiscal operations preferred.
• Experience working in a multi-departmental or event-driven environment is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience working within a government, municipal, nonprofit, or similarly regulated environment is beneficial but not required.
