About Client:
This packaging company does professional pre-blended dry-mix products in Orangeburg County, SC. The automated 20,000 square-foot plant will package and distribute bagged pre-blended dry-mix products in 40-lb to 3,000-lb bulk bags. The product line includes Mortar Mix Type N and Type S, Concrete Mix, Portland Cement, and Sand Mix. They also offer specialty items such as Core Fill Grout and Colored Mortar Mixes. 

 

Your Role:

Primarily assist the production team by completing pre-operational checks on equipment, reviewing components of raw materials by checking the finished product, and troubleshooting and resolving any issues along the production line process.

 

Responsibilities: Turning belts, ensuring gates are set, adjusting heat, using HMI screens (mechanically inclined).  Will be taught to recognize aggregate products that are used to batch concrete mix. Must be able to operator a Sit Down Forklift to move product to silos. Monitor drying process to ensure product is dried properly, work with batch man to notify when to stop producing product, operate forklift, should be able to perform basic repairs on machines, assist in bagging product.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:
•    2-5 years’ maintenance experience
•    Experience with electrical, contractors, controls, three phase power, wiring and more is a plus. 
•    Millwright or maintenance would be a plus, with ability to do light welding
